Well "Simplained' Vivek. Though the reason strategic acquisition of Dunzo by google was not difficult to guess, the way you put it and the flow of this piece is fabulous. Not a mere fact write-up, this is what I call it an explanation!. Thanks for the additionals reads and hyperlinks. Keep going!.
Gr8 write up ... Would the local product availability (In Stock (Number of units available per SKU) or Out of stock) be listed on the Partner page when the google search results are displayed? Does Dunzo have that capability? This would be fantastic if it's fetching this?
When the order button does start showing up on Google results, I am sure it will show 'out of stock'. Dunzo has given that capability to the store owners to mark items as 'out of stock'
It was such great takeaways I got to know when it comes to on-demand. While reading this I was also wondering is this true also with likes of Swiggy and Zomato!
Swiggy is probably doing everything that dunzo does already but in a larger scale and has also been able to achieve operational profitability prior to the billion dollar funding. On the other hand dunzo has been burning a lot of cash with little results to show for and now it's going after profitability which will probably restrict it's expansion and growth. Deeper integration with Google's services might help dunzo but how does it help Google to become no. 1 player in hyperlocal services if it's partner is a distant no.2 ?
simple and intuitive. And great work on the graphics and charts, they make the post shine!
Thanks Sonam :)
